1. What are check-in and check-out times? Check in is a 3:00 p.m. EST and check-out is 10:00 a.m. EST.
2. Do you allow smoking? The Oaks is a non-smoking cabin. However, there are sand buckets on both decks for cigarette butts. PLEASE DO NOT discard butts on grounds around the cabin.
3. Do you allow pets at the Oaks? YES, the Oaks is a pet friendly cabin. There is an additional pet fee charge and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets anywhere on cabin property. Pets must be secured in carrier if left in cabin alone. Any damage caused to the cabin by a pet will be charged to the owners.
4. Do you offer WI-FI? Yes, we offer free WI-FI and there are 2 color tvs in the cabin, with dvd players. There is a pool table and an air hockey table in the recreation room downstairs. The hot tub is located on the lower porch. Please keep the cover on the hot tub at all times when it is not in use.
5. Is the kitchen stocked? The Oaks' kitchen is fully stocked with all major appliances, dishes, cookware, and a start-up package of paper towels, dishwash soap, trash bags. There is a charcoal grill located outside.
6. Do you supply linens? Bed linens, bath towels, and washcloths are provided as well as a start-up kit of toilet paper and soap. Replacement linens can be provided at an additional cost. There are a washer and dryer in the cabin for your use. We recommend that you bring your own beach towels for the hot tub. Cabin towels are NOT to be carried away from the cabin or used to wash cars.
7. How do I book my dates at the Oaks? To book the Oaks, email or call one of the people listed on this website. After all your questions have been answered, you will receive an email requesting deposit payment. We require one-half payment at time of booking, and the other half 30 days prior to arrival date. Once you click the "PAY NOW" button on the email, it will prompt you to enter your credit card info into their secure website. You will receive a comfirmation receipt. When the final payment is made, you willreceive driving directions and the key code in a separate email.
8. What is your refund policy? If more than 30 days notice is given, a full refund less $50 cancellation fee will be given. If less than 30 days notice is given, the deposit is forfeited. However, you will be given the option of rebooking at a later date in order to avoid losing your deposit.
9. What are your departure policies? Upon departure, you are asked to secure all trash and place in LOCKED BIN outside. If it won't fit, PLEASE leave it inside the cabin. DO NOT leave unsecured trash outside due to wildlife in the area. Load dirty dishes into dishwasher and start cycle. Please dirty/wet towels in tubs. Turn thermostat on 78 degrees in summer and 65 degrees in winter and hot tub on 85 degrees. Make sure cover is on the hot tub. Lock the outside doors and replace the key in box.
